CCS cavern surface facilities are designed to ensure the fastest and most reliable waste receiving process in the industry. Capable of unloading three trucks at a time, the receiving areas are designed to provide tangible savings to our customers by reducing the transportation costs associated with waiting and unloading times. Unique to CCS is the water cannon process. CCS has installed a high-pressure tank/vessel cleaning system which ensures that all waste is removed rapidly - without the use of agitation vibrators - from the tank, leaving the tank virtually contamination-free. Once offloaded, the waste is immediately slurried and injected into the cavern within minutes of it being received.

Each cavern facility is constructed with critical backup processing and disposal systems. With multiple caverns at each location and two pumping systems, CCS can minimize downtime and schedule preventative maintenance without disrupting customer service.
